I want to say a big THANK YOU to Dr. Rick. He has been so kind and took such a good care for many years of our dear golden retriever Jordan. Jordan was such a good boy. We had him for 14 years until it was his time to go. We missed him a lot but he is in a better place now. Thanks Dr Rick and staff you are all the best!!!

I can not say enough wonderful things about Park Ave Animal Hospital! Dr. Rubinstein has been excellent with dealing with all of our little man Dexter's issues, from his severe allergies to having the growth removed from his eye and we could not be more thankful! Our other dog Emmie is also thankful to have her favorite friend feeling better again! The whole staff is just wonderful and it's obvious how much you all love animals. All the follow up calls from Dr. Rubinstein are so nice as well. My two puppies are my babies and I'm glad to know they are in the best of care when they get sick!

Electra and I, along with the 6 sets of paws running around here, really want to thank you for everything. Sloopy's recent scare proved to us just how fragile animals really are. Your team stepped up and put us all at ease. Three weeks of tube feeding was well worth the joy of watching her run and play again. Thank you guys very much. Your team is by far the best in the business. Thanks again and keep up the great work.

We take our little Daschund, Molly, to see Dr John. We wouldn't entrust her into the hands of any other vet practice. Park Ave. Animal Hospital is the best.

Our whole household thanks Jess and everyone at Park Ave. Vet for recommending the Comfortis flea pill. We had tried everything from bombing, flea collars and topical treament on our pets. We figured that we had a summer of scratching ahead of us. I was going to give up hope when I called Park Ave. and spoke with Jess at length about using Comfortis. She said that I would not be disappointed with it. I gave it to our four dogs and within an hour all the fleas were DEAD! We highly recommend this product to anyone with dogs! Big wags and licks from Nimue, Marley, Antonella and Santino

I came across Park Ave Animal Hospital due to an emergency on a Wednesday, when my former Vet was closed. My cat, Jakey was going through his 3rd urinary blockage. Dr Rick was there and we went through a couple of procedures to relieve Jake. As a last resort I agreed with him to perform a Urethrostomy. I was really uneasy with this at first, worrying about complications that could happen. But Dr. Rick explained every detail at least twice. He performed this operation on his day off, Super Bowl Sunday. He did a fantastic job, and we are so grateful. Jakey is doing so well, and I have Dr. Rick to thank. This is not the first time he came in to operate on his day off. My grand puppy, Buffy, also needed surgery. He met me at the door once again. I am so thankful to Dr. Rick and his wonderful staff. God bless you all.

It was an extremely fortunate day that I met Jessica at a Paws for the Cause event shortly after Park Ave. opened. I asked her if the Vets had experience with rabbits. She said yes and invited me to come in and talk to them. I did and Dr. Rick Rubinstein and Dr. John Turgai have been great. They have made it possible for me to rescue another 60 or 70 rabbits. They spayed and neutered all of them before I found homes for them. They have also treated their ailments. Not all vets are good with rabbits. They were also a great help when I brought in my friend's duck, an injured squirrel, an injured cottontail rabbit and a dog that was hit by a car (he had surgery and they found his owner through a chip and both are very happy). Oh yes, and a baby hawk who fell out of his nest. I would take any creature to them with confidence that they would get the best of care. They also treat my dog and my diabetic cat. So many thanks from myself and all the animals who can not say so. My thanks extend to all the staff who help make Park Ave. a great place. Yes, I am glad I went to that event, otherwise I would not have known about them since I live in Sanford. They are well worth the drive. I almost forgot to thank you again for helping me spay and neuter my friend's feral cat colony. Thank God there will not be any more unwanted kittens at that location. The world would be a better place if there were more people in it like the Vets at Park Ave.

Our Yorkie, Annie M, has a heart murmur. Our Ohio vet had put her on Lasix before we left Ohio last fall. However, her cough, due in part to the heart murmur, became much worse when we arrived in Florida. A neighbor gave us the info for PAAH. I called and made an appointment. What a wonderful experience this has been. Friendly and helpful office staff and the very personal attention from Dr. John will keep us coming back for the remainder of our time in Florida. We intend to relocate permanently to Central Florida but no matter where we reside and no matter what other pets we have in the future, we will always want to be treated at this office. A gift for Annie M at Christmas, Dr. John's follow-up phone calls, Annie's pills being quartered for us when we pick them up, smiling faces and just the no-hassle treatment when we check out are only a few of the niceties that we have encountered with this vet office. God bless all of you for the lovely way you treat His creatures.

We've been seeing Dr. Rubinstein for the past 14 years. We started at his Winter Springs practice and followed him to Apopka. Even though it's a 40 minute ride in each direction now, we can't think of going anywhere else. Our dear, sweet Rocky had to be put down in December and everyone at Park Avenue Vets was so kind and caring. We couldn't have wished for a better place to have this happen. We were surrounded by kindness. Thank you to the entire staff.

Each month, I eagerly read the newsletter put together by Park Avenue Animal Hospital and when I saw "give your testimonial" I thought, "of course!" and saw that I basically said the same thing in 2011 and in 2010. This past Christmas morning, Dr. Rick greeted me with our latest emergency patient, "Jupiter". After ongoing medical treatment wasn't working, Dr. Rick and Dr. John worked on Jupiter, removed a polyp from behind his ear and today, I'm happy to say, that Jupiter may be in his forever home. Had Dr. Rick not interrupted his Christmas morning to come and check out the latest emergency, Jupiter may not have survived. Thank you again, Park Avenue, from Candy's Cats and Candy. You rock!

I have been going to Park Avenue Animal Hospital since it opened and have been taking my pets to Dr. Rick Rubinstein for more than 14 years. I used to drive about an hour each way to go to his prior practice. I was so glad when he moved his practice to Apopka as that cut my drive in half. Everyone at Park Ave. is friendly and cares about your pet; I can't imagine ever going to another clinic. I trust my pets with them and I know Dr. Rick, Dr. John Turgai and everyone at the clinic will provide the best care. They care about your pet and they will treat your pet as if it were their own.
