Gina Hinton, DVM

As the daughter of a veterinarian, Dr. Hinton has been involved in veterinary medicine her entire life. She grew up surrounded by animals of all types, and has worked in clinics as a kennel technician, receptionist, and veterinary assistant. During her freshman year of college, she decided that she wanted to be a veterinarian herself.

She earned a Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Central Florida. After teaching middle school for two years, she went on to earn a Masters of Science in Microbiology and Cell Science and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida. She has a particular interest in veterinary rehabilitation and microbiology.

In her off times, Dr. Hinton enjoys reading, running, and relaxing with her husband and adopted greyhounds.
